Sowing - Sow at any time of year, providing plants are kept well watered. For best results, sow in Spring or early Autumn. To ensure good germination, sow the seed in a tray or pot of moist compost and place outside.Transplant the young plants to the desired location. Alternatively, sow in a well raked bed ensuring that the soil is fine and crumbly. Scatter the seed, rake lightly and firm down well.Keep well watered and weeded in early stages.
Maintenance - Cut back the plants in late September once the seed has fallen.
In garden situations wildflowers can be treated as normal bedding plants but they are hardier.
