Herb Plants

We now stock a wide range of herb plants for your garden. Our plants are grown from seed or by division from our nursery or we buy plug plants and pot on in organic peat free compost. Herbs are very good for attracting wildlife and have many other uses also.

Sage (Salvia Officinalis) Plant - £1.95

    Sage was an old healing plant, sacred to the Romans, and it remains an important culinary herb with a distinctive taste. But it is also a decorative evergreen shrub that deserves a place in flower borders, Should be clipped annually to preserve their neat shape and encourage plenty of young foliage, which has the best flavour and colour.Blue/mauve flowers with grey foliage. Leaves used in stuffings and for flavouring. Tea makes a good gargle for sore throats. Height: 60cm
