The starling is usually seen in flocks and is often seen scavenging. They are not very popular in the garden as they can clear a bird table in minutes as they feed in large numbers.
Nest:- Untidy nest of straw, stems and leaves in hole in tree or rocks or in large nestboxes.
Feeding:- Insects, snails, worms, fruit and berries. They will also eat bread and scraps from the bird table and from hanging feeders.
