Selfheal Wild Flower Seeds Prunella vulgaris

Selfheal Wild Flower Seeds Prunella vulgaris (LL16)

£1.49

A lovely bluish-violet, low growing wildflower, once used as a popular wound-herb. An ideal plant for Summer lawns and grass. Fast spreading and good on all soils. Perennial.

Sowing - Sow at any time of year. To ensure good germination, sow the seed in trays or pots of moist compost and place outside. Transplant the young plants to the desired location. Alternatively, sow in a well raked bed ensuring that the soil is fine and crumbly. Scatter the seed, rake lightly and firm down well. Keep well watered and weeded in early stages.

Maintenance - Once established, these plants will require no maintenance. In garden situations, wildflowers can be treated as normal bedding plants, but they are hardier.
